One of the most common methods used by
office applications is Excel. In our everyday lives, we must use Excel to
achieve our professional goals. It makes no difference what career direction
you've chosen. Entering quantitative data into an electronic spreadsheet is
used to perform mathematical computations. When computation is performed on
them, they are converted into meaningful knowledge. This data can be used to
make both technical and personal decisions.
In Excel, you can conveniently keep
track of your personal details, such as how much money you spend on household
expenses. Are they within budget? Alternatively, you must maintain equilibrium.
This was for making personal life choices.
Let's look at a professional example:
a cosmetics company. Your staff will hold a sheet of your transactions. There
may be additional factors, such as how much inventory to purchase or the need
to minimize revenue.
Excel has several commands in tabs,
such as file, home, insert, page layout formulas, analysis, display, and data
in the ribbon tab.
It offers a wide range of features
that we can use in the process. Almost 37 million people use Excel, with 53
percent using it on a regular basis.

It is an Excel function that meets a
single condition and sums the values that match this criterion. Criteria must
be right in the sum result; otherwise, if criteria do not fit, it will not
perform any feature (error appears). When calculating the sum of numbers, the condition must be within the range.

Sumif is a feature for text, date, and
numeric data. It is possible to limit it to a single column at a time. To test
the function, a condition will be applied. If the range is not within the
parameters, an error (value) will be shown. For matching sentences or phrases,
a wildcard will be used. When text contains numeric values, double quotation
marks will be used. It also addresses the issue of operators.
