  • Ensure to download and install the PC client and PC driver from the WO Mic website.
  • Then download the Android or iOS app respectively.
  • Start the PC program. Navigate to Connection > Connect and select a Transport type.
BLUETOOTH
  • To open Settings, press Windows Key + I.
  • Navigate to Bluetooth & other devices > Devices.
  • Turn Bluetooth on. Other devices will now be able to find your computer.
  • After that, turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Connect your phone to your computer.
  • On the WO Mic program for Windows:
  • Select Bluetooth from the Transport type drop-down menu.
  • Choose your phone from the dropdown menu for the Target Bluetooth device.
  • Click the OK button.
  • On the phone, use the WO Mic app:
  • Select the settings cog.
  • Select Bluetooth from the Transport menu.
  • Return to the previous screen and press the play button to start transmitting your voice.
USB

On the WO Mic program for Windows:

  • Select USB from the Transport type drop-down menu.
  • Click the OK button.
  • On the phone, use the WO Mic app:
  • Select the settings cog.
  • Select USB from the Transport menu.
  • To activate your phone's microphone, return to the previous screen and tap the play icon.

WI-Fi

To configure your Wi-Fi network on Windows, follow these steps:

  • To open Settings, press the Windows key + I.
  • Navigate to Network & Internet >WiFi.
  • Click the Show available networks button.
  • Select the one you want to use, then press the Connect button.
  • On the phone, use the WO Mic app:
  • Select the settings cog.
  • Select Wi-Fi from the Transport menu.
  • Return to the previous screen and press the play button. A gray banner message with a number should appear at the end. To begin using the microphone, click OK.

ANDROID

You would be required to Download the Smart Recorder app for this purpose. SmartRecorder is free, hence supported by Ads. One can avoid Ads by paying a monthly Google Play Pass fee. Simply go on the Google Play Store on your Home screen, or by searching. Tap install to continue.

If you're using a Samsung running from Android 6.0, the Samsung Voice Recorder app comes pre-installed

  • Select the Open recorder App.
  • Select the Record icon.
  • Identify your microphone on Smartphone so you could position to the sound.
  • Once done with recording, select the check icon to end use.
  • You could choose to preview what you have recorded by tapping the Play icon.

iPhone

With the iPhone, kindly go to the home screen and select the icon which looks like a red and white wavelength, if not there, go to the utility folder.

Then, press the circular button. This recording button will be located at the bottom of your screen.

Point your phone's microphone at the source of the sound. The microphone on most smartphones is located at the bottom of the phone. If you can't get close enough, just point the microphone at the noise.

Select the stop icon. This button will appear at the bottom of your screen, next to the recording button.

Your voice memo would be automatically saved after you tap the stop icon. You can edit it from any device that is signed in with Apple ID.
