Ola Electric Cars in India to debut in 2024

The CEO of Ola has revealed a few details about the car, including its range, performance, and features, which will debut in 2024.

Today, at the Mission Electric 2022 event, Ola unveiled its electric car, which will debut in 2024. Ola's CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, revealed some details about the company's upcoming electric car, including its design, features, range, and performance.

To begin with, the new Ola electric car will have an all-glass roof and will be the'sportiest-ever' car in India, according to Ola. According to the company, the Ola electric vehicle will have a drag coefficient of 0.21, making it more aerodynamic than the Kia EV6, which has a drag coefficient of 0.28.

The CEO also revealed that the upcoming Ola electric car can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4 seconds and has a range of 500 kilometers on a single charge. This puts the Ola electric car on par with some of the European electric vehicles on the Indian market.

The new Ola electric car will have assisted drive technology, keyless operation, and Ola's Move OS, among other features. The CEO stated that the car will be released in 2024, implying that testing and certification are still ongoing.

Apart from the car news, Ola has also launched the new S1 electric scooter in India, which is priced at Rs 99,999 ex-showroom. The Ola S1 electric scooter will share the majority of its underpinnings with the S1 Pro, and the company claims a range of 141 kilometers on a single charge, with a top speed of 95 kilometers per hour.

Along with the release of the Ola S1 electric scooter, the EV manufacturer also released a Khaki version of the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter, which will be limited to 1941 units. The ex-showroom price of the Ola S1 Khaki edition is Rs 1.49 lakh.
