Yeezy, who had filed a name change to Ye, was alleged to have been brute with his words after steering up a series of offensive and antisemitic comments which didn’t go down with the clothing brand, Adidas.

From information gathered, the German clothing company Adidas was said to have made offensive comments repeatedly as far back as 2018. According to reports, a group of workers listed the dangers they encountered when engaging with Kanye West. The high-fashion sporting goods brand officially terminated its partnership with Ye in October after the musician made several offensive and antisemitic comments. 

According to reports, “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism or any other sort of hate speech,” the company said in a statement. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.” 

Well, it may not be clear what the future looks like, Adidas has mentioned having commenced investigations into the allegations passed against Ye. 

Ye’s alleged behavior was not new, and some of them had raised concerns about Ye to leaders and human resources at Adidas as far back as 2018. From the statement gathered from the staff of the clothing brand, “It is currently not clear whether the accusations made in an anonymous letter are true; however, we take these allegations very seriously and have taken the decision to launch an independent investigation of the matter immediately to address the allegations.”

 

Meanwhile, Yeezy products under the brand name might be renamed, and Yeezy may not get any royalties to this effect.
