10 STEPS TO PRINTING VINYL STICKERS ON A PRINTER

STEP 1.

I know you have a design up there but you should sketch it out on a sketch pad. You may not fill in the full details, just something enough to guide your creative mind. For the sketches, I will go for a pencil as my sketch pen since I could use an eraser where necessary.

STEP 2.

With your computer device [Desktop or Laptop] you launch your design software. This could be Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or the free design/editing software like GIMP, then recreate your design. Ensure you have a good dose of resolution for the pixels to have an amazing output unless the design color is intended mild.

STEP 3.

Proceed to open a new 8 x 11-inch (20.3 x 27.9 cm) document page on your editing software. For the choice of software you use, you may not be able to set the size of the page, however, a size button should be seen around the Menu bar of the software for your ease to resize.

If you had pasted multiple images of your design, this would help check to avoid overlap or a cut in the placement.

STEP 6.

Insert your Vinyl Printer paper in the printer tray ensuring that you have the right side. If you seem unsure you could run a test on an ordinary paper. Kindly note that your design was set at 8 x 11 inches, therefore load Vinyl Printer paper of the same measurement.

STEP 7.

Since you had previewed and had adjusted where necessary, you can proceed to print. For a great output, I would recommend a Laser printer for the Vinyl sticker.

STEP 8.

Remember our over-laminate sheet? Kindly apply the sheet over the printed work of art. Now, this should be carefully opened and pasted from the edge with care and perhaps slowly. You can use the ruler for an even spread to avoid air bubbles between the print.

STEP 9.

Cut through the work of art with the scissors/craft knife carefully.

STEP 10.

You have successfully completed this all by yourself from home.
