One strategy I’ve found effective is using exit-intent modals sparingly. I honestly feel that designing models properly is a big challenge for any UX/UI designer. In Bitlife work, I have experimented with models many times and found that if not pay attention to the timing and content when they appear, users will feel annoyed and skip them immediately. Especially when working with SaaS applications, I find that making modals simple, accessible, and not interrupting the user experience is extremely important. If done right, modals can increase engagement significantly.
